The Park in action
The thick oak formation and other broad-leaved trees covering the first hill slopes on Trebbia's left river bank have been kept until today. The owners used these areas to raise the bovines belonging to the Limousine breed. Sessile oaks, turkey oaks and downy oaks prevail in the arboreal stratum, whereas in the undergrowth one observes also rare and protected species, such as the orange lily and several orchids (such as the Platanthera clorantha).
