Regional Nature Reserves

The territory managed by the Ente Parchi e Biodiversità Emilia Occidentale includes, besides the five Regional Parks, also other types of protected areas. The Regional Nature Reserves are smaller than the Parks, but they are very rich as far as their environment and biodiversity are concerned. We manage 4 of them, all in the Province of Parma.
We are also involved in the maintenance, surveillance, environmental education and territorial promotion of the Parco Provinciale del Monte Fuso (PR).
