Directions

By car

• From Parma:
  Provincial road 665 "Massese" towards Langhirano, then go on driving up to the locality called Pastorello. By the roundabout reach Val Parma through the Provincial road 13 towards Corniglio. Once you will have passed Corniglio's built-up area, take the provincial road S.P. 75 Corniglio-Monchio. By the village of Casarola enter the village's lower part (via del Chioso) and go on for about 1 km on the road open to vehicles (better on foot) towards the chestnut forests in the direction of Montebello.

• From northern Italy (Highway A1):
  take the Highway A15 Parma-La Spezia at the junction by the exit Parma Ovest. Leave the Highway in Berceto, and once reached the village take the Provincial Road S.P. 15 towards Calestano. About 800 m ahead take the Provincial Road S.P. 74 in the direction of Corniglio, Bosco. Just before reaching the village of Marra turn left towards Corniglio - Provincial Road 106. Leave the S.P. 106 at the locality of Ponte Romano, cross the bridge on the right towards Corniglio up to the village itself. Once passed Corniglio's built-up area take the provincial road S.P. 75 Corniglio-Monchio. In Casarola enter the village's lower part (via del Chioso) and go on for about 1 km on the road open to vehicles (better on foot) towards the chestnut forests in the direction of Montebello.

• From Tuscany and Liguria:
  Take the Highway A15 Parma-La Spezia and leave it in Aulla (MS), keep on driving towards Passo del Lagastrello Provincial road S.P. 74; Beyond Passo del Lagastrello go on towards Monchio delle Corti along the provincial road S.P. 665 up to the village of Monchio. Not far from the road sign of Monchio delle Corti, turn left and take the provincial road S.P. 75 Monchio-Corniglio, and go on up to Casarola. Go down in Via della Chiesa and then take Via del Chioso. Go on for about 1 km on the road open to vehicles (better on foot) towards the chestnut forests in the direction of Montebello.

By bus

From the train station (and from other stops in the city) of Parma there are extra-urban bus lines to reach Corniglio and Monchio delle Corti. Visit the website www.tep.pr.it.
