The Laghi della Svizzera and Della Grotta

The peacefulness and the charm of the Park are enriched by the presence of many small lakes created to function as dams for the rivers between the 19th and the 20th century. Enchanting water surfaces surrounded by the wood and built both as a water supply for the agriculture and as landscape elements. The Lago della Svizzera (Switzerland lake) was probably named after an artificial fir forest on the riverbank, which resembled an alpine lake.
